    TQ-885 Inline Pipeline Density Meter

    Product Introduction
The TQ-885 Inline Pipeline Density Meter is a high-precision online density and concentration measurement instrument developed by Beijing Shitong Kechuang Technology Co., Ltd. Based on the hydrostatic pressure principle, the TQ-885 continuously measures liquid density for industrial process automation and real-time process monitoring.
Changes in medium density are converted into a 4–20 mA analog output, while digital communication can be used for remote calibration and monitoring. Depending on the process application, the measured density or concentration can be expressed as g/cm³, kg/m³, specific gravity, °Brix, °Baume, °Plato, °GL or solid percentage.
The TQ-885 can be installed directly on industrial pipelines as well as open or closed storage tanks, providing continuous and real-time liquid density measurement for both flowing and static liquids.

    Performance Features
    •  High-precision online density measurement: Uses hydrostatic pressure technology for continuous liquid density monitoring.

    •  Touchscreen operation: Converter features a user-friendly touchscreen display.

    Working Principle
The TQ-885 operates according to the hydrostatic pressure principle. When liquid density changes, the resulting hydrostatic pressure also changes. The sensor detects this pressure variation and converts it into a corresponding density measurement.
The converter processes the measurement signal and provides a 4–20 mA/HART output for industrial automation systems. Density or concentration can be displayed locally in the selected engineering unit.
A built-in Pt1000 temperature sensor continuously monitors temperature and provides automatic temperature compensation, helping minimize the influence of process-temperature variations on density measurement.
The system also supports factory multi-point linear correction and field recalibration, allowing the density measurement to be adjusted without interrupting the process.
