XQ-1A Fiber Strength and Elongation Tester

    Product Introduction
The XQ-1A Fiber Strength and Elongation Tester is an upgraded version of the XQ-1 fiber tensile testing instrument, designed to measure the tensile properties of individual chemical and natural fibers. Featuring precision mechanics, pneumatic clamping, and computer-controlled operation, it provides stable measurements and real-time load-elongation curves for fiber performance analysis.
The tester supports dry and wet fiber testing and can connect to a vibration-type fiber fineness tester to determine the breaking force, linear density, and specific strength of the same fiber. Test data and tensile curves can be printed using an external printer.
Designed for textile manufacturers, fiber laboratories, and inspection agencies, the XQ-1A follows test method requirements associated with GB/T 14337, ISO 5079, and BISFA standards.

    Performance Features
    • Pneumatic clamping: Provides convenient specimen clamping for tensile tests.
•Computer-controlled operation: Automates test procedures and data processing.
    • Real-time curve display: Displays load-elongation curves during fiber stretching.
    •  Dry and wet testing: Evaluates single-fiber tensile properties under different conditions.
    • High measurement resolution: Load resolution of 0.1 cN and elongation measurement error of ≤0.05 mm.
    •   Adjustable test speed: Lower clamp speed from 1 to 100 mm/min.
    •  Data storage and printing: Supports test data analysis, storage, and printing of results and curves.
    • System integration: RS232 interface supports connection to a compatible vibration-type fiber fineness tester.

    Working Principle
The XQ-1A securely clamps an individual fiber between the upper and lower grips. During testing, the lower clamp moves at a controlled speed, stretching the fiber while the instrument measures the applied load and elongation.
The computer records the load-elongation curve and processes the measurement data to evaluate tensile performance. When connected to a compatible fiber fineness tester, the system can combine tensile force and linear density measurements to calculate specific strength.
