    Product Introduction
The ST202 Small Target Infrared Thermometer is a high-performance online infrared temperature measurement instrument designed for fast, accurate and real-time non-contact measurement of medium- and high-temperature objects.
The ST202 series integrates a precision optical system, photoelectric sensor, signal processing circuit, microcomputer, digital display and data output functions. It provides reliable temperature measurement for industrial processes where direct contact measurement is difficult or unsuitable.
The ST202 series includes three models:
    •  ST202-A: 600°C to 1800°C
    •  ST202-B: 800°C to 2500°C
    •  ST202-C: 1000°C to 3000°C
Operating at a 1.0 μm spectral response, the ST202 infrared thermometer offers high accuracy, fast response and excellent small-target measurement capability. With a 400:1 distance coefficient, it can accurately measure targets as small as 2 mm, making it suitable for demanding industrial temperature monitoring applications.

    Working Principle
The ST202 Small Target Infrared Thermometer operates based on the principle of non-contact infrared radiation measurement.
All objects above absolute zero emit thermal radiation. The precision optical system collects the infrared energy emitted by the target and focuses it onto a high-performance photoelectric sensor.
The sensor converts the received infrared radiation into an electrical signal. The signal is then processed by the internal signal processing circuit and microcomputer. Based on the measured radiation intensity and the selected emissivity value, the system calculates the actual surface temperature of the target.
The temperature result is displayed on the instrument and can also be transmitted through 4–20 mA analog output or isolated RS485 digital communication for remote monitoring and industrial automation.
