SGO-3231 Upright Transmitted & Reflected Metallurgical Microscope

    Product Introduction
The SGO-3231 Upright Transmitted & Reflected Metallurgical Microscope is designed for microscopic observation of both opaque and transparent specimens. It adopts an advanced infinity optical system and modular functional design to provide clear imaging, flexible illumination, and convenient system expansion.
The microscope supports transmitted and reflected illumination, either independently or simultaneously, as well as polarized-light observation. With a trinocular observation tube and optional CCD, digital camera, or DSLR camera adapters, it can also support high-resolution digital imaging and microscopic recording.
The SGO-3231 is suitable for metallography, biology, mineralogy, precision engineering, electronics, materials research, education, and industrial inspection, making it suitable for schools, research institutes, and manufacturing facilities.

    Performance Features
    •   Infinity optical system for clear and high-quality microscopic imaging.
    •   Trinocular observation tube with 30° inclination and adjustable diopter.
    •   Supports 100% transmitted-light photography and camera connection.
    •   WF10X wide-field eyepiece provides a broad observation field.
    • Transmitted and reflected illumination can operate independently or simultaneously.
    •   Reflected illumination supports both bright-field and polarized-light observation.
    •   Built-in field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm for effective illumination and contrast control.
    •   6V 20W halogen illumination with adjustable brightness.
    •   Integrated yellow, blue, green filters and frosted glass for flexible illumination.
    • Abbe condenser NA 1.25 with vertical adjustment for transmitted-light observation.
    •   Coaxial coarse and fine focusing with adjustable coarse-focus tension.
    •   Fine focusing graduation of 2 μm, with locking and limit mechanisms.
    •   Four-hole nosepiece with inward ball positioning.
    •   Optional CCD, digital camera, and DSLR camera adapters for digital imaging.

    Working Principle
The SGO-3231 uses an infinity-corrected optical system to collect and focus light from the specimen through the selected objective and eyepiece.
For transparent specimens, the transmitted illumination system directs light through the condenser and specimen before the image is formed by the objective. The field diaphragm, aperture diaphragm, filters, and condenser can be adjusted to optimize illumination and image contrast.
For opaque specimens, the reflected-light illumination system directs halogen light onto the specimen surface. Reflected light is collected by the objective for observation. The built-in polarizer and analyzer enable polarized-light observation, which is useful for examining optical characteristics of suitable materials.
The trinocular port allows a camera or CCD device to be connected for digital observation, imaging, and recording.
