    GDS-50 Time Verification System
    Product Overview
The GDS-50 Time Verification System is a multifunctional and comprehensive automatic time verification and testing device designed for the calibration and verification of various time-measuring instruments. It can be used to verify mechanical stopwatches, electronic stopwatches, pointer-type electric stopwatches, digital electric stopwatches, digital millisecond meters and various timers.
The system provides a standard time interval signal to the instrument under test. By measuring this standard time interval signal, the actual measurement value of the tested instrument can be obtained, allowing the measurement error to be calculated and the verification process to be completed.
The GDS-50 fully complies with the Chinese national verification regulation JJG 237-2010 for stopwatches. It integrates four functions: time verification, electronic stopwatch daily rate verification, pointer-type electric time verification and standard time interval generation.
The instrument uses a high-stability quartz crystal oscillator as its time reference and adopts FPGA technology with fully digital control to generate high-precision time interval signals. A 3.5-inch TFT LCD screen and simplified control interface provide convenient operation, while the system offers high stability, high accuracy and strong interference resistance.
The GDS-50 can be used by metrology departments, factories, universities, research institutes and other organizations for the verification and calibration of time-measuring instruments.

    Working Principle
The GDS-50 generates highly accurate standard time interval signals based on a high-stability quartz crystal oscillator. The signal is applied to the instrument under test through the corresponding physical interface.
The tested stopwatch or time-measuring instrument measures the standard time interval signal and produces its own measured value. The GDS-50 compares the measured value with the standard time interval to determine the measurement error of the tested instrument.
Different signal interfaces and measurement methods are provided for different types of time-measuring instruments, including mechanical stopwatches, electronic stopwatches, pointer-type electric stopwatches, digital electric stopwatches and millisecond meters.
The system also incorporates a standard time interval generator capable of producing single- or dual-channel pulse interval signals for applications requiring a precision time reference.
