Preparation Work Select the magnification of the lens according to the desired yarn count, and install it in the eyepiece holder of the instrument. Based on the fabric color, select the corresponding vernier glass scale color. When switching, simply gently insert the vernier scale glass piece. 2. Measurement Operation Place the instrument on the tested fabric, aligning it nearly parallel to the warp and weft yarns, then adjust the lens height to achieve the clearest image in the field of view. Press the top surface of the instrument with your left hand, then rotate the adjustment knob with your right hand to align the engraved lines in the lens with the zero position. Next, reverse the adjustment knob and visually count the number of warp and weft yarns per unit length.
