MSM20-7 Non-Consumable Mini Metal Arc Melting Furnace
    Product Introduction
The MSM20-7 Non-Consumable Mini Metal Arc Melting Furnace is a compact vacuum arc melting furnace designed for laboratory preparation of metals and alloy samples. It uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode arc melting method and provides a controlled protective atmosphere for melting, alloying, purification, and material research.
The furnace allows repeated melting of alloy ingots by mechanical flipping without breaking the protective gas atmosphere, ensuring uniform alloy composition and improved sample quality. Equipped with seven independent water-cooled copper crucibles, the MSM20-7 can prepare multiple samples simultaneously while reducing cross-contamination.
With compact size, simple operation, high melting temperature capability, and reliable vacuum protection, the MSM20-7 is an ideal metal melting system for universities, research institutes, and advanced materials laboratories.

    Working Principle
The MSM20-7 Mini Arc Melting Furnace uses vacuum arc melting technology.
After the vacuum chamber is evacuated and filled with protective inert gas, an electric arc is generated between the tungsten electrode and the metal sample. The high-temperature arc rapidly melts the metal, allowing different elements to mix and form homogeneous alloy materials.
The water-cooled copper crucible rapidly removes heat from the molten metal, preventing contamination and maintaining sample integrity. The built-in mechanical manipulator flips the alloy ingot during melting, enabling repeated melting cycles without exposing the sample to air.
This process improves alloy uniformity and is widely used for developing new metallic materials and experimental alloys.
