MSK-AFA-EC200 Automatic Doctor Blade Coating Machine

    Product Introduction
The MSK-AFA-EC200 Automatic Doctor Blade Coating Machine is designed for uniform coating on foil substrates and other flexible materials. It combines automatic material feeding, roll-to-roll winding, adjustable coating tension, slurry stirring, and integrated hot-air drying to produce consistent thin-film coatings.
With adjustable coating speed and a coating thickness range of 20–200 μm, this laboratory coating machine is suitable for battery electrode research, experimental coating, and sample preparation. It can also be used for films, paper, and composite materials.

    Performance Features
    • Uniform slurry coating: An automatic stirring rod helps maintain slurry uniformity during coating.
    •   Automatic web handling: Automatic feeding and winding support continuous coating and orderly material collection.
    • Integrated drying system: Resistance-wire heating and upper/lower air blowing dry the coated material.
    • Adjustable coating tension: Automatic tension adjustment supports stable coating and winding.
    •  Precise coating control: Coating thickness accuracy is ±6 μm, with edge error of ±8 μm.
    •  Continuous operation: Designed for uninterrupted coating during laboratory-scale production.
    • Compact laboratory design: Suitable for battery R&D, coating trials, and small-batch sample preparation.

    Working Principle
The substrate foil is fed through the coating system while the slurry is distributed across its surface using a doctor blade. The automatic stirring rod helps maintain slurry consistency, while adjustable coating speed and tension support uniform application. The coated substrate then passes through a 500 mm drying oven, where resistance-wire heating and upper/lower air blowing facilitate drying. Finally, the material is automatically wound into a roll for subsequent testing or processing.
