LEAK-01 Package Leak and Burst Tester

    Product Introduction
The LEAK-01 Package Leak and Burst Tester is designed to evaluate packaging seal integrity, pressure resistance, burst strength, and long-term creep performance. Using a microcomputer-controlled positive pressure method, it supports multiple test modes for assessing the mechanical integrity of flexible packaging, medical sterilization packaging, tubes, and blister packs.
The instrument features a touchscreen interface, LCD display, programmable test parameters, automatic data statistics, and result storage. Users can select between restrained and unrestrained expansion test methods according to their testing requirements. Optional higher-pressure measurement ranges provide additional flexibility for different packaging applications.
With support for burst testing, creep testing, and creep-to-burst testing, the LEAK-01 is suitable for packaging quality control, material development, and laboratory testing.

    Performance Features
    1. Positive pressure testing: Evaluates packaging pressure resistance and seal integrity through controlled gas pressurization.
2.Three test modes: Supports burst testing, creep testing, and creep-to-burst testing.
3.Dual expansion methods: Offers restrained and unrestrained expansion testing to accommodate different packaging conditions.
4.Touchscreen operation: Combines a menu-driven interface, PVC control panel, and LCD display for convenient operation.
    5. Automatic data statistics: Dedicated software supports automatic calculation and statistical analysis of test results.
6.Programmable test parameters: Saves multiple test configurations for repeatable testing procedures.
    7. Automatic result storage: Stores test results for convenient review and quality documentation.
    8. Selectable pressure ranges: Provides a standard range of 0–600 kPa and an optional range of 0–1.6 MPa.
    9. Simplified test workflow: Supports one-touch test operation and convenient parameter configuration.
    10. Data communication and printing: Includes a microprinter and standard RS232 interface for data output and computer connectivity.

    Working Principle
The LEAK-01 uses the positive pressure method to evaluate the pressure resistance and failure behavior of packaging samples. Gas is introduced into the sample under controlled conditions, and pressure behavior or time to failure is monitored according to the selected test mode.
    • Burst Test: Gas pressure is increased until the sample ruptures. The instrument records the maximum pressure reached before failure.
    •  Creep Test: The sample is pressurized to 70% of its measured or established burst pressure and held for a specified period. Pressure changes are monitored to evaluate creep resistance.
    •  Creep-to-Burst Test: The sample is pressurized to 90% of its measured or established burst pressure, and the time required for rupture is recorded.
The instrument also supports restrained and unrestrained expansion testing. These methods allow users to evaluate packaging behavior under different expansion conditions.
Note: The pressure percentages and test procedures should be configured according to the applicable test method and the manufacturer's operating instructions.
