    KODIN3000HM Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

     Product Introduction
The KODIN3000HM Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a high-precision intelligent ultrasonic thickness meter designed for fast and reliable non-destructive thickness measurement. It uses advanced high-speed data acquisition technology and integrates A-scan, B-scan, numerical measurement, and USB communication in one portable instrument.
With a 2.4-inch high-definition TFT color display, the measurement interface is clear and easy to read. Multiple ultrasonic measurement modes allow the KODIN3000HM to measure materials across a broad thickness range, including thin-wall metal components.
The portable ultrasonic thickness gauge is particularly suitable for thickness inspection of automotive steel sheets, fireproof and security doors, copper and steel doors, fire extinguishers, office cabinets, metal stair handrails, kitchen equipment, and other thin-wall materials.

    Working Principle
The KODIN3000HM ultrasonic thickness gauge uses ultrasonic pulse-echo technology to determine material thickness without cutting or damaging the test piece.
An ultrasonic probe sends a high-frequency sound pulse into the material. When the ultrasonic wave reaches the opposite surface, part of the signal is reflected back to the probe. The instrument measures the propagation time of the ultrasonic pulse and calculates the material thickness according to the preset or calibrated sound velocity.
The instrument supports several measurement methods:
    •  Pulse-Echo: suitable for general thickness measurement.
    •  Echo-Echo: useful for measuring through coatings or painted surfaces under suitable conditions.
    • Multiple-Echo: provides an additional method for thin material inspection.
    • Automatic Mode: automatically selects an appropriate measurement approach within the specified range.
The A-scan provides waveform information for signal analysis, while B-scan can provide a cross-sectional representation of thickness variation.
