JF7325 Lubricating Oil and Grease Evaporation Loss Tester

    Product Introduction
The JF7325 Lubricating Oil and Grease Evaporation Loss Tester is designed to determine the evaporation loss of lubricating oils and greases according to GB/T 7325 and ASTM D972.
During the test, a lubricant sample placed in an evaporator is maintained at a specified temperature in a constant-temperature oil bath while heated air passes over the sample surface for 22 hours. The evaporation loss is determined from the mass loss of the sample before and after the test.
The JF7325 is a benchtop petroleum testing instrument integrating an oil bath, airflow control and precision temperature control, suitable for lubricant quality evaluation and laboratory testing.

    Performance Features
    •  Standard-based testing: Designed for evaporation loss testing according to GB/T 7325 and ASTM D972.
    •  22-hour test: Heated air passes over the lubricant sample surface for the specified test period.
    •   Two test units: Supports simultaneous testing of two sample tubes.
    •  Oil bath heating: Environmental-friendly oil bath heating helps reduce oil fumes and provides effective thermal insulation.
    •  Wide temperature range: Working temperature from room temperature to 250°C.
    •  High-precision PID control: Microprocessor-based PID temperature controller with digital display and 0.1°C resolution.
    •  Pt100 temperature probe: Provides temperature sensing for precise thermal control.
    •  Precision airflow control: Flowmeter with needle valve provides an airflow range of 0–2 L/min.
    •   Air filtration: Air filter with glass wool helps filter the incoming air.
    •  Safety protection: Overheating and low-liquid-level protection help improve operating safety.
    •  Durable construction: Ceramic-coated stainless-steel structure with stainless-steel heater and cover.
    • Integrated benchtop design: Heating bath, flowmeter and temperature-control system are integrated into one laboratory instrument.

    Working Principle
A weighed lubricating oil or grease sample is placed in the designated evaporator/sample bottle and positioned in the constant-temperature oil bath.
The instrument heats the bath to the specified test temperature while the PID controller and Pt100 RTD probe continuously monitor and regulate the temperature. Filtered air is introduced through the flowmeter and needle valve and passes over the sample surface for 22 hours.
After the test, the sample is weighed again. The difference between the initial and final sample mass is used to calculate the evaporation loss of the lubricating oil or grease.
