iqiege® 2110D Large Vertical Metallographic Cutting Machine
    Product Introduction
The iqiege® 2110D Metallographic Cutting Machine is a large vertical metallographic specimen cutter designed with safety and environmental considerations for preparing metal, rock, ceramic and other solid-material specimens for metallographic and petrographic observation.
The machine integrates cutting, cooling, illumination and cleaning systems and uses a robust cast-iron body with a manual swing-arm cutting mechanism. With a maximum cutting diameter of Φ110 mm, it is suitable for larger and irregular workpieces commonly encountered in laboratory material preparation.
A comprehensive safety system combines a door-type safety switch and explosion-resistant protective cover, while the high-efficiency cooling and chip-removal system uses a magnetic separator and dedicated cutting fluid to help control cutting heat and collect cutting debris.

    Performance Features
    •  Large Φ110 mm maximum cutting capacity for metal, rock and ceramic specimens.
    •  Vertical structure suitable for large solid-material sample preparation.
    •  Robust cast-iron machine body for stable cutting operation.
    •  Manual swing-arm cutting design makes large workpieces easier to process.
    •  Door-type safety switch helps prevent operation when the protective cover is open.
    •  Explosion-resistant protective cover provides additional cutting protection.
    •  Large observation window provides clear visibility of the cutting process.
    •  High-brightness illumination improves visibility inside the cutting chamber.
    •  Grooved cast-iron worktable with vise supports irregular workpieces.
    • High-performance cooling system helps prevent specimen burning during cutting.
    •  Internal water tank with filter collects cutting residues and debris.
    •  Magnetic separator assists in separating metallic cutting debris from coolant.
    •  Integrated cutting, cooling, illumination and cleaning systems simplify operation.
    •  Low-noise and stable operation for laboratory sample preparation.

    Working Principle
The specimen is securely clamped on the grooved cast-iron worktable using the vise. The operator manually controls the swing-arm cutting mechanism to bring the rotating abrasive wheel into contact with the workpiece.
The Φ350 × 2.5 × 32 mm cutting wheel rotates at 2300 rpm to progressively cut the specimen. During cutting, dedicated cutting fluid is circulated through the cooling system to remove heat generated by friction, helping prevent excessive thermal damage to the specimen.
Cutting debris and coolant are collected in the internal water tank. The built-in filter helps collect residues, while the magnetic separator assists in separating metallic particles from the coolant, facilitating cleaning and waste management.
The protective cover, door-type safety switch and high-intensity illumination provide a controlled and visible cutting environment.
