IB-20HL Thermal Cycling Heated Lid Dry Bath

    Product Introduction
The IB-20HL Thermal Cycling Heated Lid Dry Bath is a Peltier-based, microcomputer-controlled laboratory heating and cooling system designed to perform PCR reaction programs. Unlike conventional dry baths, the IB-20HL can execute programmable PCR thermal cycling directly on a metal block.
It features an interchangeable aluminum alloy module, automatic module recognition, and a continuously adjustable heated lid. The system accommodates 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL centrifuge tubes, helping reduce tube popping and sample evaporation during heating.
The IB-20HL is suitable for PCR, LAMP, NASBA, RPA, sample preservation and reactions, DNA amplification, pre-denaturation before electrophoresis, serum coagulation, and nucleic acid or protein denaturation.

    Performance Features
    •  PCR thermal cycling function: The dry bath can directly run programmable PCR reaction protocols.
    • Peltier-based temperature control: Semiconductor technology provides precise heating and cooling control.
    • Interchangeable aluminum alloy modules: Modules can be replaced according to different tube and sample requirements.
    •  Automatic module recognition: The instrument automatically identifies the installed module.
    •  Continuously adjustable heated lid: Suitable for 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL centrifuge tubes, helping prevent tube popping and evaporation.
    •  Flexible heated-lid control: The heated lid can be independently switched on or off according to application requirements.
    •  Convenient module replacement: A dedicated lifting tool facilitates module replacement and cleaning.
    •  Programmable PCR software: Supports up to 9 programs, cyclic operation, and up to 99 cycles.
    • Independent parameter setting: Module temperature, holding time and heated-lid temperature can be set and displayed independently.
    •  Future wireless capability: A reserved Wi-Fi function is provided for potential future APP software applications.

    Working Principle
The IB-20HL uses Peltier semiconductor thermoelectric technology to provide both heating and cooling. The microcomputer control system regulates the module temperature according to the programmed temperature profile.
For PCR applications, users can set multiple temperature stages, holding times and cycle numbers. The system automatically executes the programmed thermal cycle, providing controlled denaturation, annealing and extension conditions.
The adjustable heated lid maintains contact with the upper part of the centrifuge tube during heating, helping reduce condensation and evaporation. The heated-lid function can also be switched off when it is not required.
