CODcr PCZ COD online monitoring instrument
    Introduction:
This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB11914-1989 for water quality chemical oxygen demand determination and the environmental protection industry standard HJ/T377 2007 for chemical oxygen demand (CODcr) water quality online automatic monitoring technology requirements. It adopts new optical measurement, high-temperature and high-pressure digestion, and digestion colorimetric integration technologies, and has the characteristics of accurate measurement, low detection limit, high reliability, and strong adaptability. It is widely used in environmental protection, production monitoring and other fields, and is an ideal instrument for environmental monitoring and control.
    Detection principle:
Using potassium dichromate rapid digestion spectrophotometry to measure the organic content in water samples. Quantitative potassium dichromate and sulfuric acid are added to the water sample, and silver salt is used as a catalyst under strong acid conditions. After high-temperature digestion at 165 degrees Celsius, the oxygen consuming organic matter and reducing substances in the water sample convert chromium (VI) into chromium (III). The reduction of chromium (VI) is measured by photoelectric colorimetry, and the measured value of the sample is compared with the calibration curve of the standard sample to obtain the COD in the sample.
