    Introduction:
    The AWA6011 pistonphone is a standard sound source capable of generating a specified sound pressure level and frequency. It is primarily used for calibrating the sound pressure sensitivity of microphones and acoustic measurement instruments. The characteristic of the pistonphone is that its nominal operating frequency of 250 Hz falls within the flat portion of the microphone frequency response, ensuring consistent calibration sound pressure levels for both sound pressure microphones and free-field microphones. Additionally, the sound pressure level is highly stable. However, its disadvantage is that the sound pressure level varies with air pressure (altitude), necessitating correction based on the local air pressure. For convenience, the AWA6011 pistonphone integrates a digital air pressure sensor internally, which can accurately measure the ambient air pressure and provide correction values for sound pressure correction. The performance of the AWA6011 meets the technical requirements for sound calibrators specified in GB/T 15173-2010 Level LS/C and IEC 60942:2017 Class LS/M. The performance of the AWA6012 meets the technical requirements for sound calibrators specified in GB/T 15173-2010 Level 1/C and IEC 60942:2017 Class 1/M.
